Haunted Ghost Tour of Goshen. Walking tour lasts 60-90 minutes. Every Thursday - Saturday in the summer months at 7pm. Leaves from the Government Center parking lot across from the Stagecoach Inn.

Above the Clouds Hot Air Balloon Rides is based out of Middletown, NY - just 8 miles away. Enjoy a ride over the beautiful Hudson Valley. They offer flights twice a day, sunrise and sunset. Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience right here in the Hudson Valley.

Falconry Exursions offers a completely involved and immersive experience in learning falconry and how to handle a hawk or owl. They offer 90 minute to 3 hour packages on their 53 acre licensed private preserve in Goshen, NY.

Mount Peter Ski has been a premier destination for wintertime fun in New York for more than 86 years. They offer a famous FREE beginner ski and snowboard school, an awesome terrain park, a tubing hill and a top-notch racing and development program in the best family atmosphere. Located just 14 miles from the inn.

Mountain Creek Resort is New Jersey's largest ski resort. Its four peaks offer 167 acres of terrain options that are suitable for all skill levels. With three terrain parks, long wide-open groomers and night skiing, there is something for everyone. Located just under 20 miles from the inn.

There are many beautiful courses in the area, below are just a few.

Stony Ford Golf Course at Thomas Bull Memorial Park. Mar - Nov, Dawn - Dusk 18 holes, par 72. Pro shop, driving range, and lessons. Dining and banquet facilities. 6 miles from the inn.

Mansion Ridge Golf Course - NY’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Design open to the public. Carved out of rolling hills of an historic 220-acre estate. The stone barn clubhouse has an award-winning restaurant. Seasonly, 6am-8pm. 12 miles from the inn.

Bicycling

The Village of Goshen has direct access to the Heritage Trail which is an 18 mile linear trail that extends from Middletown to Monroe.

Goshen Historic Track - Great American Weekend

The best time to enjoy Goshen in the summer is over July 4th Weekend.

The Goshen Historic Track is a half-mile harness racing track in Goshen, New York. It was opened in 1838 and has been in operation ever since, the oldest continuously operated horse racing track in North America. Matinee races held on Sundays in June and the Grand Circuit is held over July 4th Great American Weekend.

Great American Weekend is held over 2 days in the Village of Goshen every July 4th weekend. Fun for all ages, 20K people a day stroll the nine-acre village surrounding the First Presbyterian Church. This two day event offers over 150 Craft Vendors, Live Music, Great Food, Childrens Activities and a fantastic family friendly environment.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located in Bethel, NY, at the National Register Historic Site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. They are known for their music events as well as the historic 1960s Woodstock Museum, both located on 800+ acres of scenic country hills in the Sullivan Catskills. Bethel Woods is located 44 miles from the inn.

Kayaking & Watercraft Adventures

From the Hudson River to many local lakes come to the area to get out on the water and explore.

Storm King Adventure Tours offers kayaking tours with expert guides on the beautiful Hudson River. Beginners welcome. All equipment and instruction are provided. SKAT is based in Cornwall, 18 miles from the inn.

Greenwood Lake Experience offers boat charters and experiences on Greenwood Lake which is located in Hewitt, NJ just over the NY state border. Try a new water sport, host a party or spend a relaxing day on the water. The marina is located 20 miles from the inn.

Greenwood Lake Paddle Boards offers standup paddle board and kayak rentals and lessons. They are a family owned business located in the Village of Greenwood Lake which is 17 miles from the inn.

Pride of the Hudson offers both sightseeing cruises and private charters. Cruise through the majestic Hudson Highlands aboard the luxurious Pride of the Hudson based out of Pride’s Landing in Newburgh, just 23 miles from the inn.

West Point Tours offers a comfortable bus tour with a guided overview from the start of West Point in 1778 as a military post during the Revolutionary War to the modern times of the United States Military Academy educating our leaders of tomorrow. Online reservation required. All tours originate and end in the parking lot of the Fred V. Malek Visitors Center in Highland Falls, NY. This visitor center is 25 miles from the inn.

The Walkway Over the Hudson is the world's longest elevated pedestrian bridge between Poughkeepsie & Highland, New York. At 1.28 miles across and 212 feet high, the walkway offer sweeping views of the Hudson Valley. Access is free.The Highland entrance is located 36 miles from the inn.
